“Where your thoughts and heart reside in reveals the house of your belief.”
Studies show that when someone decides to change their physical health and begins to work out in order to see true results its actually 80% of your diet and 20% working out. Many get it confused and think its all about being in the gym and doing 1,000 squats along with an hour of cardio. I’ll be honest I was definitely one of them at some point. That was before I understood that its not all about the amount of hours that are spent doing one activity over and over again. It serves no purpose if what you are feeding yourself is full of things that weigh you down. Full disclosure your girl here has a sweet tooth honey! But with the Lords help he has been diminishing that appetite so that overall I can be more healthy which I am grateful for. I used to have a really bad desire for donuts. I mean I would eat them all the time if I could but I have been wanting to be better to myself and most importantly my stomach. Since I made that mindset shift it has become way easier for me to say no when I walk into stores and see my favorite snacks. Who would have known that all it took was just one choice to be more disciplined. Before I knew it, I found myself being more committed to that 80% less than the 20% at times because after a long day at work teaching the kiddies I am 9/10 exhausted….but with a little bit of push and discipline I am able to get the job done. This is the same way I believe we’ve got to be with housing our belief. We have to make sure it is a space that is open and most importantly healthy. We have got to be feeding it all of the right things so that 80% is really worth something amazing.
I think this is all more than capable but it requires us to put more of an emphasis on our thoughts and our heart. The way I like to see it is that they all need to be speaking the same language. It needs to be coherent and in sync with one another. Nothing out of alignment, or missing any nuts or bolts. When we can get these two things together then it is inevitable that our belief will enhance significantly beyond our minds capacity to even see. Thats when our lens of faith kicks in to reiterate what our hearts and thoughts are in conversation about, and hopefully its all things concerning progression and forwarding into our futures and beyond.
Until Next Time,
