A New Song…

Have you ever wondered why birds chirp so early in the morning when the sun begins to set its light on the world? Well, after just a little bit of research I found out that the reason why is because of something really special called a dawn chorus. In this chorus you will find the birds singing loudly across to each other from opposite territories. Studies have shown that it exists to call other potential female mates to where male birds are. It also is used to claim ones territory from others that may have tried to take a  piece or a part of the territory that they deemed as theirs already.

What really stood out to me that brought it all the way to a closing fancied home run finish is that the sound is must crispier in the morning before humans start to wake up out of their slumber. This is why they consistently wake up each morning and sing a new song within their daily schedule. So every morning they can all expect to hear a new sound in the midst of much commotion.

I don’t think I will ever forget that Monday morning where I took just a little bit more time to ponder what I was hearing walking to work. It made me smile just in awe of what I was seeing in a new lens. I felt such a different just in that acknowledgement of my surroundings. I could have easily been still upset over the fact that its early and I have to make my way to work. But instead I was able to pay attention and look to hear a new sound. One that is of hope, a brighter today and an even better tomorrow that’s to come.

In any environment keep your eyes open in every night and day season. Each part of our lives has a morning where day breaks. Don’t lose out on the beauty inside of it due to clogged ears and blurry eyes. Keep that palette open across the board to stay in the view of the many colors.

So in all, keep singing my friends. There is a new song for you to vocalize everyday!
