Spaces & Gaps…

Daily we are surrounded by spaces and gaps.

They flow in and out of our daily passings

And surroundings of our every day lives.

At times I find myself looking at spaces.

When I take the time to actually sit and ponder what my eyes are viewing

My imagination starts to go on a whirlwind.

It takes me to new discoveries, heights, leaps and bounds

Just from the state of observing.

Spaces are vast but never empty.

Inside of spaces there is a little space living within what we see that’s large and wide.

I like to call these places gaps.

Gaps can be defined as: an unfilled space or interval a break in continuity.

A little space within a space.

An intimate moment in time that stands still.

A quiet place. A soft place.

Only very few can hear and see, since it requires both attention spans.

When invaded it disrupts many things that were formed.

Masks that were thrown on in moments of vulnerability

In an attempt to quickly cover up what’s laying their in those little gaps.

A little space within a space.

You see gaps have a flow and a pulse.

One that is formed in the midst of un fulfillment as the definition states.

A flow within a void that has to keep getting refueled.

Running on fumes that stay at half way full.

…No matter how many times you try the pedometer just doesn’t seem to move…

At times it may feel like this is all life has for you….

I remember.

I was there.

Stuck in the cyclical gap where the wheel just kept turning over and over again around itself.

Days came, changed, and went but in the midst of all of that I stayed the same.

Stuck in the gap of the same.

An unfilled space. A break in the continuity of me.

The depths of me.

The heights of me.

The ins and out of me.

Lost in a stargaze. Not viewing the right light.

My lens was no longer on the right feature and things seemed to be hard to pierce through.

Until I realized there were parts of me that needed just a little bit more time to be undone.

To be unraveled from past thinking and mindsets that no longer fit me.

They were in fact making up the gap that needed to be filled so the current could flow through the channel easily.

Unclog every gap.

See the inconsistency as indication that freedom is near.

Latch onto it. Stay with it.
