Glimpses…

We see in glimpses every day as they come.

Our thoughts can be a window of glimpse that allows us to think in a way we may have never even thought to travel before.

There is an area in our lives that we cannot see just yet but somehow it is still there in the midst of the blurriness.

The moment we start to think about the future it takes us into what the future holds momentarily while we are still standing in the present. A moment where we can stand between two areas of time that requires a level of belief to dive deeper into the unknown. It is a place that can be rather scary because you are entering into what Faith on the inside of you is seeing. Faith is not just a sight we put on but it has its own set and pair of eyes that allows for a looking glass view.

We need to have this view when we begin to take that bold step into the glimpses.

We have to catch and store it quickly written on the tablets of our hearts.

The definition of glimpse is something that happens quickly, briefly and in an impartial view. It comes just as quickly as it leaves. In a blink of an eye you can see yourself doing better for a millisecond but then all of a sudden you are left back to where you were originally.

That is where the challenge lies. When you see the future for a moment but you continue to hold on to it after it passes. Notice key word, passes but it never leaves. Once imparted it continues to stay around in our subconscious mind no matter how far we may try in our own strength to push it away. It remains fervent in our sight even in the impartial.

Glimpses serves as reminders we can always check back in on. It allows us to see where it still is or where it may have expanded itself past due to your level of belief and agreement with what has been presented.

Seeing my life in a glimpse was a promise I had to continue to hold onto even when at times the surrounding circumstance seemed like it had more clarity in its sight overall. I still had to believe in the area God was revealing me too.

Three years waiting for a promise God deemed the right time to be now for it to come to fruition. My heart will be forever grateful that he did not give up on the God dream he gave to me to pursue even when I did not believe in myself just yet. This was all due to a glimpse I found enough faith to walk in even in my unbelief and doubt. God still kept something in me from that one little glimpse back in 2020 that I had to hold until now.
