When we hear the word appearance it is usually centered around the outside look or view of what is being presented. The world sees appearance as everything that has to do with the outside. At times it often consists of a particular facade one tries to maintain or sustain, when in fact going about it this way is not something you can keep at all because it all consists of you. Your strength. Your abilities. Your understanding and your ways. But if we shift the surrounding parameter to a focus that is on Gods appearing then we can see where the knowledge of who he is, and what he demonstrates is available daily.
In Gods appearing it is something that is full, never lacking. It has substance and can be easily distributed. It is a state he distributes to us that is available.
Every time God appears we see him as a state meaning it’s embedded deep down on the inside of him. It doesn’t change because he literally is whatever we need him to be at his core. So I think the perspective of outward appearance as a state makes sense to me then as to why if we are who he says we are at the state of it, we should look it across the board with his leading of course.
In my experience of life thus far the world can sometimes be very much all about what’s being shown on the outside. At times it can all be rather flashy and full of an attention seeking quality that I don’t think is worth the pressure to live up to be. The moment the perspective is shifted from the outer appeal to the inner which includes now both the good and bad we begin to see the state of you. The conditioned state of who you are that still remains after all is said and done. That is the true evidence of the appearance. When the inside shines through the outside. A piercing not to cause harm but to further affirm the evidence of the substance. When you take time to get to know God that is what you will begin to both experience and see. The evidence of his appearance as his state in whatever capacity is needed at the time to serve.
This is the image I want to continue to see myself through in his lens….and guess what….its available for you too. Just take that step and begin to start the transformation from the inside out.
