Stand Series: Only Believe

Before we begin to talk about what it means to believe I first want to make sure we understand what the word stand means which is: to have or maintain an upright position supported by ones own feet.

As we exit out this year, our stance is so imperative. We cannot take lightly what this position means and will entail for us as we go forward into this new year by force. How we stand now will determine how we enter. A lot of the times we can be delayed when it comes to considering this factor until we are already in it. But what if we choose to do something different this year and embark on something that goes past traditions or patterns we are used to submitting to. I want us all to take a second right in this moment to look at your feet. Yes, I know it may seem weird or unusual but I challenge you to just take a look. Observe how you have all of your weight on your two feet. You aren’t using any outside support or assistance. Look and see how flat footed your feet are. They aren’t sliding all over the place or tripping over itself. Just as you can shift the weight of your head to look down so can you shift your head to look up and your feet aren’t going anywhere.

This my friends is what believing does. No matter how you may shift in weight or areas in life the substance of your belief will always find grounds to stand on as long as your feet are planted. If something as small as your feet can find stable grounds imagine what your belief can find on these grounds if you assign it a place to reside. Give belief a place to be maintained and supported in your stance. Give belief a home in your heart, thoughts, speech, patterns. Let it all be stationed within you so your stance can be strengthened even the more in every step and movement you take.

The promise is sure y’all….only BELIEVE!
