The Act of Gather…

Gather: come together, assemble, or communicate. Bring together and take in form scattered places or sources.

Alright y’all! Welcome back to another round of blog post for this new year and I don’t know about you guys but I have been fully enjoying all of this. It has been encouraging me and reminding me to continue to be sensitive to this new place I am in and what each step here looks and sounds like in order to make sure I remain effective in it. Each week is a new level I am being challenge to personally come up in, so that I may maintain a consistent out pour and intake for what is needed for this well packed and set year. All that is required now is total and complete alignment for and with it.

In the midst of the places and spaces I have had to show up in I have consistently been finding myself in a place of sitting and a whole lot of silence. It has been very comforting and filled with much solace and peace. Inside of these moments I have been picking up more than I ever thought I would along with discovering different parts of me. If I was sitting in an environment filled with lots of noise I don’t think I would be able to reflect as much as I am now. Through the silence sight has become even more available in recognizing where certain pieces need to come back into alignment in order to have its true fitting again.

Often times in life we tend to think gathering requires company. But I would like to offer to you that gathering sometimes means you have to be set apart enough, alone enough, as an individual to be able to fully asses from a clear and fresh perspective what needs to be caught. Once you can identify what needs to be caught then you can begin to assign it a place. But before any of this identification occurs first you have to be committed to the act. In this particular scene it means a place of solitude, quiet enough to hear and open enough to receive everything in both your heart and mind. View the landscape, take in the scenery and branch out from there with clarity of the how and the strategy needed to execute effectively. I decree and declare over you and myself that in this year of 2024 this will be the year we will all execute effectively!

So I will leave you with this: take some time. Not just for what you want or desire but actually take some time away to sit on your own and set your mind on what is required of you now for this new place. How does it look? How does it sound? Where will this lead you towards or away from? These are just a few questions to ask yourself along the way as I am too right along with you.

Until Next Time
